Wednesbury Division of Girlguiding is located within three local authorities of the Black Country – Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
Unit leaders are an enthusiastic bunch with much to give to their community through their service within Guiding. As well as many of them having their own jobs, they still manage to make Girlguiding a success in their area.
There are nearly 50 units within the division providing a service to young people and adults. There are Rainbow units bursting at the seams and Brownie units busy in their weekly activities. Guide and Senior Section units are taking on more adventurous activities while our leaders continue to work hard week by week. Our Trefoil Guild, although small are a caring group of ladies who meet when they are able.
Over the years, the units have carried out holidays and camps and joined together where possible to give as many girls the opportunity to enjoy the out of doors as possible. Both leaders and girls have participated in International trips and have returned enthusiastic about the opportunity they have been given.
Throughout the years, Girlguiding Wednesbury Division has become an established part of the community and we are looking forward to continued growth over the coming years.
